I am a 50 year old French native and I have always travelled as a child and in adult life. I was born in the North of Provence in the small city of Saint Paul Trois Châteaux well-known for its black truffle. I first started my student life with a Master's and Phd in English in Avignon and Montpellier (France) and in London England. I even did some tours in Avignon at the time. I taught English and French in both countries. Then I decided to carry on with a degree in international business with a specialization in wine at the Wine University in Suze la Rousse (France). I worked for a wine estate called Château La Croix Chabrière that produces Côtes du Rhône and Grignan Les Adhémar wines. I also worked with le Domaine de la Janasse -one of the best rated estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape for 3 years, Château Mont Redon and Domaine Grand Veneur. My uncle and aunt are settled in Beaumes-de-Venise and work hard on their vineyard. I even helped them with harvesting when I was a student about 30 years ago. Southern Rhône has so much to offer! Working as a wine guide gave me fantastic opportunities to meet people from all sorts of nationalities. I really enjoyed talking about my region, sites not to be missed out, I also gave advice regarding food and wine pairing. I've now become acquainted with quite a large network of wine producers. I passed the WSET level 2 in Wines and Spirits with distinction (96%) in 2016. I am also an official Guide-Conférencier (French registered guide) doing history tours for tourist offices of Orange and Châteauneuf-du-Pape. I am fluent in English, speak rather decent German and I am accustomed to Spanish. I now feel the need to communicate my passion for this region, its history, culture, food and wonderful wines!
