Wine tour in Châteauneuf-du-Pape and the Chorégies of Orange

Only available throughout July and beginning of August

Châteauneuf-du Pape and Orange are so close and have so much to offer. It would be a pity to miss that! Châteauneuf-du Pape is well-know for its worlwide known cru and Orange has a Roman heritage you cannot miss. The best kept Roman Theatre in the western world actually hosts the oldest festival in France that will celebrate its 150th birthday in 2019. Every year from July until the beginning of August,  the greatest lyrical performers gather and offer you fantastic operas. We shall start this half-day tour in the afternoon around 2pm with tasting and visiting a couple of cellars in Châteauneuf-du Pape, where you'll be given of course explanations regarding the terroir and wine making and also some historical indications about the village. Dinner will take place in a local restaurant in Orange where you'll be driven to spend the rest of the evening. We'll have time to go to the Roman Arch prior to dinner and after you'll be taken to the Theatre to see an opera of your own choice (see link of the 2018 program below).
